Prosthetic Consideration In Implantology

Master the Art of Implants — From Fundamentals to Function

Join us for “Prosthetic Consideration in Implantology”, a comprehensive 3-day, hands-on course designed to give you complete confidence in implant planning, placement, and restoration.
Over three transformative days, you’ll dive deep into every aspect of implant dentistry — understanding not just the how, but the why behind long-term clinical success.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

✅ Biomechanics of Implants — Understand how occlusal forces affect crestal bone stability and influence implant longevity.
✅ Peri-Implant Tissue Management — Learn the hard and soft tissue requirements and the biological principles behind today’s implant guidelines.
✅ Implant Selection — Master how to choose the correct implant type, size, and system for any clinical scenario.
✅ Custom Healing Abutments — Explore both immediate and delayed techniques — a vital step toward long-term stability and esthetic success.
✅ Digital vs. Analog Workflows — Acquire accurate impressions, understand intraoral scanner accuracy, and learn when to splint and which connections to use.
✅ Lab Communication & Restoration Design — Discover how to communicate effectively with your lab, select the ideal titanium base, and design emergence profiles according to bone and tissue contours.
✅ Delivery & Maintenance — Learn delivery protocols, occlusal adjustment, post-delivery care, and how to prevent and manage complications.
✅ Digital Fabrication Techniques — Design surgical guides, night guards, and custom healing abutments — plus, learn how to polish zirconia for optimal tissue adhesion.

By the end of this 3-day program, you’ll walk away with:
🔹 A solid understanding of the core principles of implant dentistry
🔹 Confidence to work with any implant system and its prosthetic components
🔹 The ability to plan, place, and restore implants predictably for long-term success

SPEAKER: Dr. Ahmed Mataria, DDS

we experience fear when we lack proper knowledge, but through education and practice, we can accomplish anything

Dr. Ahmed Mataria earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2009. He went on to establish several successful dental practices in the Chicago area, where his focus naturally evolved toward implant reconstruction and regenerative dentistry.

Committed to excellence, Dr. Mataria has completed extensive continuing education and advanced fellowships, including multiple hands-on programs in the Dominican Republic. He later expanded his practice to Los Angeles, where he now limits his work exclusively to implant dentistry—handling complex referral cases, managing failed implants, and emphasizing biological, metal-free implant solutions.

With advanced training in vertical augmentation, soft tissue grafting, full-arch restorations with immediate loading, Khoury technique, Partial Extraction Therapy (P.E.T), and Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF), Dr. Mataria brings both precision and artistry to every case.

He currently serves as a clinical instructor at Trinon College, where he teaches implant placement, sinus lifts, and full-arch restorations, while mentoring doctors through every stage of their professional development.

Dr. Mataria has placed thousands of implants throughout his career and continues to balance private practice between Los Angeles and Chicago.

He is also the founder of New Age Dental Lab, the only certified Zero Bone Loss Lab in the United States, created in collaboration with Professor Tomas Linkevicius. Through this fully digital lab, Dr. Mataria helps clinicians plan, design, and fabricate surgical guides and restorations—ensuring predictable results and complete biological harmony.
